Donnie Darko Is an Amazing movie and in my top 5.

The director's cut was the 1st version I saw of the movie and after seeing the original i can say the directors cut is much better. It doesn't do anything like change the story or add or delete important scenes it just has some extra scene cuts that use the book from the movie instead of just direct washes or fades now, the passages from the book in the movie about time travel and everything kinda help guide you through the action now and helps add a new sub text to the action and new foreshadowing.

Oh yeah and how you been buddy its been ages.

yo-oi! i got the directors cut free with a newspaper like half a year ago and someone threw it away. absolutely gutted i may have to buy it, itd probably only be like £5 now or something
yeh the normal version dvd had some extracts from the book, only problem is when you look at them you cant zoom in and the writings so disgustingly small you cant read a single word...
